Montana Legend on the Menu "At The Beard House Event"

Tuesday, August 14, 2007 — New York City

Two of Montana Legend’s very favorite all-time chefs, Greg Cole and Jesús Méndez, of Cole’s Chop House (ranked the Bay Area’s best steakhouse by Zagat voters for the past three years!), further secured their posts as among the region’s top chefs with their "Downtown Napa Dinner" served at The James Beard Foundation in New York City on Tuesday, August 14.

Joining them were Chef Marcos Uribe, of Cole’s sister restaurant Celadon (Napa Valley) and legendary vintner, Robert Craig.

Since 1986, the James Beard Foundation has been at the forefront of America’s culinary revolution. The Foundation was established that year in honor of James Beard, the late cooking teacher, journalist, and food consultant who is widely considered the father of American gastronomy.
